A synagogue documented in Mosul’s old Jewish quarter, adjacent to the Midrash synagogue. Located in Mosul, it is preserved here as part of Iraq’s Jewish heritage. It formed part of the religious and communal life of Iraqi Jewry. Surviving photographs, architectural evidence and historical references help preserve the memory of the site and its community.
